X-series: Intel Active Management Technology may cause IRQ conflict with PCI card

Symptom:

X-series stations don't start and all screens remain blank or freeze at "Station Stopped, Waiting to Stop".

Cause:

When the vSpace host begins to initialize it assigns devices IRQs. The PC may run out of IRQs if any Intel branded technologies, such as Intel Active Management Technology (IAMT), are running over COM3. Intel AMT uses out-of-band communication for system management access to client systems. It often can be disabled.

Solution:

Disable Intel Active Management through Device Manager or Disable Intel Active Management Technology:
  1. Enter BIOS Setup by pressing [F2] during boot.
  2. Go to the Intel ME menu.
  3. Set Manageability Feature to None.
  4. Exit and save changes [F10].
This solution primarily applies to Intel based name brand PCs.
